How do I download emoji packs?

Browse the available emoji packs in the app and tap on the pack you want. Then tap the download button to add it to your library. All emojis are stored on your device. Once downloaded, you can view your packs in the Library section and export them to WhatsApp.

How do I export emojis to WhatsApp?

After downloading packs, go to your Library and select the pack you want to use. You can then export the pack directly to WhatsApp to use as stickers in your conversations.

How do I create custom emoji packs?

There are two ways to create custom packs:

  1. From the Emojis page: Select emojis you like and tap "Add to a pack"
  2. From the Library: Tap the plus (+) button to create a new pack

Each custom pack can contain between 3 and 30 emojis. Your custom packs are stored locally on your device and can be found in your Library.

Why do I need to sign in with Apple?

Sign in with Apple provides a secure and private way to authenticate and save your preferences. We don't store any of your personal information on our servers - it's handled entirely by Apple's secure system.

Is the app free?

Yes! The core features of Zouzoukwa are completely free - you can explore emojis and create custom packs at no cost. All emoji packs are free to download.

What does the subscription include?

If you'd like to support the creator, you can subscribe to unlock special features:

  • Special supporter icon to show your support
  • Sticker keyboard extension (coming in an upcoming update)

Your subscription helps fund the creation of more diverse and culturally authentic emojis.

How do I restore my subscription?

If you've subscribed and need to restore your supporter icon (for example, after reinstalling the app or switching devices), tap the "Restore Purchases" button in the app settings. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original subscription.

Troubleshooting

The app is crashing or not working properly

Try these steps:

  1. Close the app completely and reopen it
  2. Restart your device
  3. Check for app updates in the App Store
  4. Make sure you have the latest iOS version installed
  5. If the problem persists, contact us at contact@zouzoukwa.africa

I can't export to WhatsApp

Make sure you have WhatsApp installed on your device and that it's up to date. If you're still having trouble, try restarting both Zouzoukwa and WhatsApp, then try exporting again.

I can't sign in with Apple

Ensure that Sign in with Apple is enabled in your device settings (Settings > Apple ID > Password & Security > Apps Using Your Apple ID). If you're still having trouble, try signing out of your Apple ID on your device and signing back in.

My custom pack isn't saving

Custom packs must contain between 3 and 30 emojis. If your pack has fewer than 3 emojis, you won't be able to save it. Check your device storage to ensure you have enough space available.
